HUASAI RESTAURANT: my favorite restaurant 💜
Huasai Restaurant is an old restaurant in the city of Iquitos. It is located at Jirón Fitzcarrald 131 and is half a block from the Plaza de Armas. The food is varied and incredible. The atmosphere is cozy like at home but it is not large and its capacity is 40 people. It opens at 7 in the morning every day except Saturday. You can also enjoy the prices offered by the restaurant. The food that it offers are the typical dishes of the region, Creole and international food. The appetizer I always order is the ocopa. It has peanuts, mirasol chili, huacatay, potato, cheese, milk, egg, lettuce, olive, all in a really tasty cream. The dishes on the menu are accompanied by rice. There is a la carte menu, executive menu and homemade menu at affordable prices. My favorite main dish is the beef steak with mushrooms. It's delicious!
The soups are delicious and there are a variety of salads that you can order with your meal. The different desserts: gelatin, vanilla flan and chocolate ice cream are wonderful and to drink you can have fruit sodas: apple, cocona, mango, grapes.
